Join us on our exploration of southern Italy's history, art and food.

Our tour will begin on the island of Sicily. You will arrive with the group on a flight from Rome to Catania Fontanarossa International Airport and transfer to your hotel near Toarmina. From here, we will explore the archeological history of the island, its culinary traditions, and artistic masterpieces with stops in Siracusa, Agrigento and Catagirone.

Moving on to the mainland, you will visit the city of Reggio di Calabria and the surrounding areas. We will visit local Roman ruins, learn of the lasting influence of Magna Grecia in southern Italy, do an olive oil tasting and much more.

Our final stop will be in Rome, the capital of modern Italy and center of the ancient Roman empire. Here we will visit some interesting but lesser-known treasures of Roman and Italian art and history as well as wonder around so less touristy neighborhoods of the capital city.
