I'm so excited that you will be traveling with Living Like Them! 

I find so much of Italian history and culture to be enchanting, and I love to share these beautiful experiences and places. Since I began to study Italian, Calabria has become my second home. For several years, I lived in Reggio di Calabria, and I have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Italy. 

I began Living Like Them in 2017 in order to give travelers an authentic experience of Italian culture. As part of your tour, you will visit some places that may be familiar to you, but many of the places included in our tours are outside major tourist areas. I want you to experience authentic Italian culture and to visit places you might have otherwise missed. 

I believe that you experience a culture through food; its history and traditions are all found at the table. For this reason, there are several meals and cooking classes included in your tour. Italian food is very diverse from region to region and even town to town within a region. Many of these amazing flavors cannot be exported, so we will enjoy a tasty introduction to local history. I hope that you will be open-minded as your try these new and unique flavors that tell us so much about the places from where they come.

As part of your tour, I will organize all the details (transportation, hotels, meals, tickets, etc), and be in contact with you as you prepare for your trip. If you have any questions, always feel free to let me know how I can help you with planning.
