The Piemonte region of Italy is known for it's spectacular wines and the birthplace of theSlowFoodmovement. 

Our tour will begin in Turin. You will arrive by train from Milano Central to Turin. From here, we will explore the city, visit the world famous Egyptian museum, learn more about Italy's SlowFood movement, adventure into the local countryside to savor local wines and cooking, and go shopping for Italian designers at the Saravalle Outlet. 

We will transfer from Turin to the charming town of Monza, located just outside of Milan. Here we will visit one of Italy's royal palaces, sight of the assassination of the first king of Italy in 1900, and famed for the monica of Manzoni's Promessi sposi (The Betrothed). From Monza, we will also visit the well-known Lago di Como near the Italian Alps.
